Kenneth B. Gordon received a medical degree from Columbia University in New York. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts and a clinical residency in dermatology at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University, jointly sponsored by the Departments of Dermatology and Microbiology/Immunology. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Dr. Gordon served as Head of the Division of Dermatology at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare in Illinois and Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. Board certified in dermatology, Dr. Gordon holds key positions with several professional organizations. He is a member of the International Psoriasis Council and of the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation. In recent years Dr. Gordon has chaired majored international meetings, including the 2006 First World Conference of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis in Stockholm, Sweden, and the 13th International Psoriasis Symposium in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Gordon has received several awards and honors, including the Society for Investigative Dermatology’s Albert Klingman Fellowship and the Dermatology Foundation Clinical Career Development Award. He was recently named as one of the “Best Doctors in America” and is listed in Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare. Dr. Gordon has published numerous articles and book chapters, and given many presentations, on topics relating to the treatment of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and nonmelanoma skin cancer. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Dermatologic Treatment, a member of the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and an ad hoc reviewer for Archives of Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology, The Journal of Investigative Dermatology, and The Journal of the American Medical Association. |
