Jeffrey J. Crowley received a medical degree and completed a medical internship and dermatology residency at Stanford University in California. Dr. Crowley is currently in private practice with the Bakersfield Dermatology & Skin Cancer Medical Group in Bakersfield, California, which provides narrowband ultraviolet B (NB-UVB), psoralen + ultraviolet A (PUVA), topical PUVA, and systemic therapies for the treatment of psoriasis. A Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Mohs Surgery, Dr. Crowley holds membership in the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the Kern County Medical Association, and the California Society of Dermatology. He currently serves as Treasurer and is a member of the board of directors of the California Society of Dermatology. Dr. Crowley has published on such topics as the effect of tumor necrosis factor on neutrophil function, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, and the treatment of psoriasis. His academic interests including teaching dermatology and family practice residents at both Stanford University (Clinical Instructor) and the University of California, Los Angeles (Clinical Assistant Professor). Dr. Crowley has been involved in phase 2, 3, and postmarketing studies with alefacept, etanercept, efalizumab, and adalimumab, and he has served as principal investigator in several funded trials. |
