Activity Overview The year 2008 has seen significant advances in the development and use of biologic agents for the treatment of psoriasis. New drugs have been approved, clinical trial data on emerging agents have become available, and safety updates on existing agents have been reported. For this Expert Practice article, we interviewed Craig Leonardi, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at St. Louis University, to help put the year's events into perspective and to review how these changes may affect the practicing dermatologist and ultimately improve the care provided to patients with psoriasis.
Target Audience This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of dermatologists and other health care professionals involved in the care of patients with psoriasis.
