Prior to her current appointment, Dr. Hamilton practiced at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta and served as an instructor in medicine at Dartmouth Medical School in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Hamilton completed her medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, then served an internship in internal medicine at the University of Utah Health Science Center and a residency in dermatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Dr. Hamilton is board certified in dermatology. She is a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatological Surgery, among others.

Dr. Hamilton has been an invited speaker at local, state, and national dermatological symposia, with her presentations focusing on biologic therapy for chronic plaque psoriasis. She has been a principle investigator for numerous clinical research trials for psoriasis, and her work has been published in a variety of prestigious scientific journals, including Archives of Dermatology, the Journal of the American Medical Association, the New England Journal of Medicine, and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Neil J. Korman, MD, PhD

Dr. Korman is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he also serves as Director, Translational Research Core, at the Skin Diseases Research Center. In addition, he is the Founder and Director of the Regional Center for Immunobullous Disease as well as Director of the Clinical Trials Unit, Department of Dermatology, and the Skin Immunopathology Laboratory, all at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Korman earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in biomedical engineering both at Case Western Reserve University and served his internship and residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. He then went on to complete a research fellowship in immunodermatology at the Dermatology Branch of the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Korman is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and received a Special Qualification in Dermatological Immunology/Diagnostic and Laboratory Immunology in 1989. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the National Psoriasis Foundation, the Society for Investigative Dermatology, and the Dermatology Foundation, among others. He also serves on a number of committees, including the Psoriasis Education Initiative and the Psoriasis Expert Resource Group, both with the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the medical advisory boards of the National Psoriasis Foundation and the International Pemphigus Foundation.

Dr. Korman serves as a referee for 18 scientific journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatology, and the New England Journal of Medicine, and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine & Surgery. He has published extensively with over 70 original articles, book chapters and reviews.

Prior to his current appointments, Dr. Shapiro was chief of staff and chief of pediatrics at Community Hospital of Los Angeles, assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at University of Southern California Medical School, and director of Watts Pediatric Clinic, Beverly Sunset Pediatric Clinics, and East Los Angeles Pediatrics Clinics, all in Los Angeles, California. He was also associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Dr. Shapiro is board-certified in pediatrics, and is a member of a number of professional societies, including the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology and the American Academy of Pediatric-Dermatology. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, then completed an internship at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and a residency in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Weinberg is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the National Psoriasis Foundation, and the Dermatology Foundation, among others. He has received a number of prestigious awards and honors, including inclusion in the 2005 edition of Who's Who in America.

Dr. Weinberg is currently on the editorial boards of a number of journals, including the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology, the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, and Cutis, and for the past 5 years has served as an educational reviewer for more than a dozen journals. He has been an invited presenter at various dermatological symposia, and has published numerous papers, reviews, and abstracts in such journals as Archives of Dermatology, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
